We have almost finished the reading assignments for this term, there are 2 more chapters and it's complete.
We continue to read Chapter one of our History book and are answering questions as we go.
Math continues to be a fight because chandler just hates doing Math out of a book.
Spelling is done thru Lesson 3 and Grammar thru Lesson 3 as well.
Writing is always a joy, Chandler loves to write and takes every opportunity to do so.
Art is coming along we are attempting to make stick furniture, we have killed more than we have made be we continue to try.
Geography is coming along fine, we have completed Chapter one.
Sign Language is going well, we are following the book and so far she knows all the signs they are trying to teach.
The other subjects were ignored this week.

Week of September 19th to 25th, 2011
Half of this week was spent getting Chandler better. She had a wicked cold for most of the week and we got very little done. We began our term Art Project and did some reading. Next week it's back in the saddle again. Chandler is feeling fine now.

Week of September 12th to 18th, 2011
We did through unit 3 of our Mathematics text, not lovin using a text Chandler much prefers hands on, on the fly math to using a book.
We read the first 3 chapters of the Faith and Life series and did the workbook that goes along with it.
Sign Language Lesson one went well, she laughed at how much of it she already knows.
We went on a nature walk and gathered the sticks and twigs for her upcoming Art project and that will start next week.
We read the first few pages of the Outlooks book and discussed the stuff we read. Very interested in History at the moment.
Spelling and Grammar are done thru Lesson 3 and she continues to write her own stories that only seem to get better and better with each passing day.
We haven't jumped into Science or Geography as of yet, that will get tackled next week as well.
Sunday School continues again this year. She has been bumped up a grade and is loving it. Children's Choir sign up was today and she will begin work on her first presentation next week.
There is also a possibly of her beginning Soccer in the near future will update you on that later on.

Week of September 4th to 11th, 2011
This week was spent getting back into the groove. We completed the first lessons in Spelling and Grammar and 2 lessons in Mathematics. We returned for a new year of Sunday School and Children's Choir. Next week we begin in earnest. See you next week.
